King George VI (Albert Frederick Arthur) Windsor of England was born on 14 December 1895 at York Cottage, Sandringham, Norfolk, England.1,2 He was the son of King George V Windsor of England and Princess Mary (of Teck).2 King George VI (Albert Frederick Arthur) Windsor of England married Lady Elizabeth 'The Queen Mother' Bowes-Lyon, daughter of Claude George Bowes-Lyon and Countess Nina Cecilia Cavendish-Bentinck, on 26 April 1923 in Westminster Abbey, England.1,2 King George VI (Albert Frederick Arthur) Windsor of England died on 5 February 1952 in Sandringham, England, at age 56.1,2 He was buried on 11 March 1952 in St. George's Chapel, Windsor, England.1
