     King Vittorio Emanuele I (of Sardinia) was born on 24 July 1759 in Torino, , Torino, Italy.1 He was the son of King Vittorio Amedeo II (of Sardinia) and Infanta Maria Antonia (of Spain).1 King Vittorio Emanuele I (of Sardinia) and Archduchess Maria Theresa (of Austria-Este) were married by proxy on 23 April 1789 in the Cathedral of Milan, Italy.2 King Vittorio Emanuele I (of Sardinia) and Archduchess Maria Theresa (of Austria-Este) renewed their vows on 25 April 1789 at Cathedral of Novarra, Italy.2 King Vittorio Emanuele I (of Sardinia) died on 10 January 1824 in Moncalieri, , Torino, Italy, at age 64.1 He was buried in Napoli, , Napoli, Italy.1
