     Emperor Karl VI (of Holy Roman Empire) was born on 1 October 1685 in , Wien, Austria.1 He was the son of Emperor Leopold I (of the Holy Roman Empire) and Princess Eleonore (of Palatine).1 Emperor Karl VI (of Holy Roman Empire) married Princess Elisabeth Christine (of Brunswick Wolfenbüttel), daughter of Duke Ludwig Rudolf (of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel) and Princess Christine Luise (of Öttingen), on 1 August 1708 in , Barcelona, Spain.1 Emperor Karl VI (of Holy Roman Empire) died on 20 October 1740 in , Wien, Austria, at age 55.1 He was buried in Kapuziener Kirche, , Wien, Austria.1
