Princess Karoline Friederike Wilhelmine (of Baden) was born on 13 July 1776 in Karlsruhe, , Baden.1 She was the daughter of Hereditary Prince Karl (of Baden) and Princess Amalie (Friederike) (of Hesse-Darmstadt).1 Princess Karoline Friederike Wilhelmine (of Baden) married King Maximilian I Josef (of Bavaria), son of Count Friedrich Michael (of Birkenfeld) and Countess Marie Franziske Dorothea (of Sulzbach), on 9 March 1797.1 Princess Karoline Friederike Wilhelmine (of Baden) died on 13 November 1841 in , Bavaria, at age 65.1 She is also reported to have died on 13 November 1841 in Munich, , Germany, at age 65.1 She was buried in Mhunchen, , Bavaria.1
