     Countess Karoline (of Nassau-Saarbrucken) was born on 12 August 1704 in , Rheinland, Prussia.1 She was the daughter of Count Ludwig Kraft (of Nassau-Saarbrucken) and Countess Philippine Henriette (of Hohenlohe-Langenburg).1 Countess Karoline (of Nassau-Saarbrucken) married Christian III Palsgrave (of Birkenfeld-Zweibrucken), son of Count Palatine Christian II (of Birkenfeld) and Countess Katharine Agathe (of Rappoltstein), on 21 September 1719 at Schloss Lorenzen, , Bas-Rhin, France.1 Countess Karoline (of Nassau-Saarbrucken) died on 25 March 1774 in Darmstadt, , Hesse-Darmstadt, at age 69.1 She was buried at Stadkirche, Darmstadt, , Hesse-Darmstadt.1
     Her married name was Countess of Birkenfeld-Zweibrucken.1
