     Margrave Joachim Ernst (of Brandenburg-Ansbach) was born on 22 June 1583 at Cholln An Der Spree, , Brandenburg, Prussia.1 He was the son of Elector Johann Georg (of Brandenburg) and Princess Elisabeth (of Anhalt).1 Margrave Joachim Ernst (of Brandenburg-Ansbach) married Countess Sofie (of Solms-Laubach), daughter of Count Johann Georg I (of Solms-Laubach) and Margarethe von Schonburg, on 14 October 1612 in , Bavaria.1 Margrave Joachim Ernst (of Brandenburg-Ansbach) died on 7 March 1625 in , Bavaria, at age 41.1 He was buried on 25 April 1625.1
