     Archduke Francis IV (of Austria) was born circa 1780.1 He was the son of Archduke Ferdinand Charles (of Austria) and Princess Maria Beatrice Este (of Modena).1 Archduke Francis IV (of Austria) married Maria Beatrice Vittoria Giuseppina di Savoia, daughter of King Vittorio Emanuele I (of Sardinia) and Archduchess Maria Theresa (of Austria-Este), at the Cathedral of Cagliari, .2
     King Vittorio Emanuele I (of Sardinia) and Archduchess Maria Theresa (of Austria-Este) were married by proxy on 23 April 1789 in the Cathedral of Milan, Italy.1 Archduke Francis IV (of Austria) was titled Duke of Modena, Reggio, and Mirandola on 14 July 1814.3
