     Maria Cristina Sardinia was born in 1812.1 She was the daughter of King Vittorio Emanuele I (of Sardinia) and Archduchess Maria Theresa (of Austria-Este).1 Maria Cristina Sardinia married King Ferdinando II (of the Two Sicilies), son of King Francesco I (of the Two Sicilies) and Princess Isabel (of Spain).1 Maria Cristina Sardinia died in 1836.1
