Archduke Ferdinand (of Austria-Este) was born in 1821.2 He was the son of Archduke Francis IV (of Austria) and Maria Beatrice Vittoria Giuseppina di Savoia.2 Archduke Ferdinand (of Austria-Este) married Archduchess Elizabeth (of Austria), daughter of Joseph (of Austria) and Maria (of Wurttemberg).2 Archduke Ferdinand (of Austria-Este) died from typhus on 15 December 1849 survived by Archduchess Elizabeth (of Austria).1
