     Emperor Henry V (of the Holy Roman Empire) was the son of Emperor Henry IV (of the Holy Roman Empire) and Bertha (of Savoy).1 Emperor Henry V (of the Holy Roman Empire) married Empress Matilda (Maud) (of Germany), daughter of King Henry I "Beauclerc" (of England) and Princess Matilda 'Atheling' (of Scotland), on 7 January 1113/14.2 Emperor Henry V (of the Holy Roman Empire) died on 22 May 1125 survived by Empress Matilda (Maud) (of Germany).3
