     Earl John 'Fairborn' Beaufort was born circa 1371 at Chcateau De Beaufort, , Maine-Et-Loire, France.2 He was the son of Prince John (of Gaunt) and Katherine Roet.1 Earl John 'Fairborn' Beaufort married Margaret de Holand, daughter of Thomas de Holand and Alice Fitzalan, before 28 September 1397 in Upholland, Lancashire, England.2 Earl John 'Fairborn' Beaufort died on 16 March 1409/10 at St. Catherine By The Tower Hospital, London, Middlesex, England.2 He was buried at St. Michael's Chapel, Canterbury Cathedral, Kent, England.2
     Earl John 'Fairborn' Beaufort was titled Earl of Somerset.1
