     John Underhill was born circa 1574 in Killingsworth, Warwickshire, England.3 He was the son of Thomas Underhill and Magdalen Amyas.2 John Underhill married Honor Pawley, daughter of James Pawley and Isabelle Bonython, say 1595 in Lelant, Cornwall, England.1,4 John Underhill died in 1608 survived by Honor Pawley.5 John Underhill was buried at Church of Sr. Gertrude, Bergen op Zoom, , Holland (now Netherlands).5
     John Underhill is described in Underhill Genealogy.6 John Underhill is mentioned in The Great Migration Begins under Captain John Underhill.7
